As the long-term impacts of COVID-19 continue to emerge, healthcare practitioners are increasingly faced with the complex and evolving challenge of supporting patients with Long COVID. In Part 1 of this educational series, we provide a clinical update on Long COVID, offering a comprehensive overview of current definitions, terminology, and classification.
This module explores the diverse and often debilitating symptom picture, current prevalence data, and identified risk factors, along with emerging insights into subtypes and their distinct presentations. To conclude, we focus on evidence-based immune support strategies, including key herbal and nutritional interventions that may assist in modulating immune function, reducing inflammation, and supporting recovery.
